Talbot County Court Proceedings, 1662-1674: I Anthony Purse Constable doe Present on the behalfe of the Lord Propriatory Mr Thomas Hynson Junor and Ann Gaine for Committing Fornication Contrary to the Laws of This Province. Test p mee Anthony A P Purss
Whereas there was A Presentment made by Anthony Purss Constable of Chester hundred upon the 15th day of march 1663 of mr Thomas Hynson Junor and Ann Gaine for Committing Fornication Contrary to the Laws of ths Province and hereas the said mr Thomas Hynson Junor Came into Court being very sorrow full for it, and hath now made her his Law full Wife; The Court for his Punishment haue thought fitt, and doe hereby order that he be suspended from setting in this County Court for one yeare and A Day: or till further order from the Governer and Councell; and it is further ordered that hee bring his wife to the next Court held for Talbott County.

To the Worshipfull Commissioners for Talbott County the humble petition of Thomas Hynson Junor Shewith That nott Long since, hee haueing through frailty and
weakness Committed an offence against the known Lawes of this province (only through neglect of time) for the which hee Received punishment, according as this Worshipfull Court thought fitt, Butt now soe it is that mr James Ringold of the Commissioners that gaue this Judgment in the Cause, doth still make it his Common practice to add further punishment to your petitioner, by opprobrious and scandalus speeches, Branding him with his former offence nott withstanding hee hath made full satisfaction in what the Law provided, your petitioner humbly Craueth that your worships will be pleased either to dismiss yor petitioner from sitting or elce that hee may haue such satisfaction as yor Worships shall think fitt; & yor petitioner Shall Ever pray

I believe this is the correct Thomas Hinson mentioned in the records, but am not positive.
The following is found in Pennsylvania records dated 12 Nov 1678 in the Upland Court. (I will type the modern English)
Improving the same Land according to his honor the governor regulations & orders.
Christopher Barnes appeared in court and then & there did acknowledge the hereafter Recorded deed unto John Moll etc;

Know all men by these presents that I: Christopher Barnes of Delaware River, have assigned and made over unto Mr. John Moll of the Towne of New Castle for the use & Proper account of Mr. Thomas Hinson of Talbott Coounty in Maryland, all whatsoever shall be due unto me over and above the debt which I: do owe unto Capt. Thomas Delauall of New Yorke, merchant, wherefore an order of Court is obtained against me by John Addams his Employer that is to say my plantation where I now live upon, all my corn Tobacco Cattle, as two cows the one having had four and the other one calf as also one ox of three years old & one young calf, and that for the payment of one thousand pounds of good merchantable tobacco & casque, as also the incidental charges allowed by the law which has & shall accrue about two fat oxen which I am indebted unto Mr. Thomas Hinson aforesaid, wherefore an order of Court was also passed against me, in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Upland this 12th day of November 1678. To son William at 18 yrs. of age, residue of land, 150 A., belonging to "Hynson's Town" afsd. To son Richard at 18 yrs. of age, 150 A., "Hynson's Hills." To brother Charles, testator's portion of 200 A. on w. side Chester R. To wife Anne, execx., 1/2 of all personalty, and privilege of remaining on plantation. To younger child.
