Pricing

I do not deal in Web Hosting, or renting out web space. To read my recommendations on choosing a Web Host who will rent you web space, and register a domain name for your site, click HERE. I will be happy to guide you through the process. Once that's done, and your check has cleared for my design services, we can get the work on your site started.

Because people's needs vary so greatly, it's difficult to come up with a "one size fits all" price for designing a site. There are some basic needs for all sites however, and I attempt to address those, and some extras you may choose.

I do develop and design for established organizations and larger businesses by offering a $500.00 package with more content than is listed in the $100.00 package below for a small family business or church. I'll be bringing details of that package online very soon. It's not that I'm charging so much more for a more established, larger business, it's that I'm charging so much less to decrease the financial burden on a budding small family business or small church organization with a rather small budget. Please email me if you'd like a site developed for your organization or corporation.

Included in the basic $100.00 Small Family Business package is the design of a banner for the top of your web pages. If you have a logo, I can incorporate that within the banner.

Style would be another decision that would need to be made. It should fit your business or organization. If you're an accountant, you wouldn't want lots of flashy "stuff" going on in your pages. You would want something a little more subdued to reflect stability, etc. If you create primitive country gifts, a warm homey look would be good.

I will create five text pages which will include the top banner I'll create, two graphics (or more - we can discuss it) that either you provide or I supply, and of course the text you desire. The first of the five pages would be the index or homepage for your site. The other four pages would be up to you, but might include pages such as:

1. About Us/Bio Bit
2. Mission
3. (Favorite) Links
4. Staff/Ministry Listing Page
5. Product/Service Explained
6. You come up with a few

I will create a Text (non-flash and non-java) Menu. It's location on the page is your choice. (Javascript menu is available for $25 more)

Your site will be submitted to search engines so those browsing the web can find you. This doesn't automatically guarantee a high placement in the search results you may do for your site.

A search engine will be placed on your homepage from which people can search your site for certain data, content or products.

I will place an Email Link so those that browse your site can contact you via email.

I can set up email accounts you need on your domain, i.e. bjriverspeters@yourdomain.com. You might want to consider making up your list of addresses you want now.

After your web site is up and running, my work is done. You may have noticed some "empty" pages in a couple of the sites listed in the PORTFOLIO menu off the homepage. I can only put up what the client provides. Once 1 month has passed, and I've done all I can, I will consider any further work as web site maintenance at a cost of $20.00/hr. Don't worry, most updates don't take much time.
