Family Tschudi of Schwanden
As with many of the documents offered on this site, this was obtained by Lorelle Parrott Weidlein. I just discovered that before she passed away in 1995, she lived just 30 minutes from my home. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet Lorelle.
It came into my possession by the help of Karen Kidd, a long lost Kennard cousin of mine. Karen attached a note to this and the Straub family tree stating Lorelle had gone to Switzerland for this information.

Whoever typed this report added the following:
"Martin Tschudi was coming 1801 to Schwanden and was going back to the States in 1802. Later nothing news came from his family.
1890 Arthur Tschudi, pastor at Davenport, a descendent, visited the native country Schwanden and Glarus."
Now for my comments: I'm descended through my Martin's daughter, Margaret. There's no mention of her in the list of births above.
There are discrepancies in children who are in the above list of Martin's children, who are not in the list provided by Joe McGee, and those, like Margaret, who are definite children of Martin and Anna Barbara Tschudi who are not present in the above listing.
