Each petition to the House of Delegates is read a couple times before a vote is taken and the request is sent to the Md. Senate for their approval.

Next you see where a collection of bills, including Bill #180, passed by the General Assembly and were later passed by the Senate were ready for the signature of the Governor of Md. On February 15, 1817.
